The effect of sensorimotor games and brain-directed motor exercises on developing children's creative abilities

Abstract
The study aimed to design an educational curriculum using sensorimotor games to develop the creative abilities of children aged (5-6) years. The experimental method was used using the experimental design of two equal groups, one experimental and the other control, to suit the nature of this research. The research community was represented by children of Al-Zohour Kindergarten aged 5-6 years in Basra Governorate for the academic year (2023-2024), numbering 50 children. Conclusions were reached, including that sensorimotor games and brain-directed motor exercises have a positive effect on developing the skills of fluency, originality and imagination for children aged (5-6) years. The researchers recommended the necessity of using sensorimotor games and motor exercises in developing the various creative abilities of children
