Abstract

The research aimed to determine the relationship between the dimensions of psychomotor exercises and the levels of performance of the basic abilities specified for selecting boxing players in Baghdad boxing clubs. The research used the descriptive survey method, as the research sample included 72 boxers from five clubs in Baghdad. The scale of psychomotor exercises dimensions was applied to the sample, and a motor training program was implemented for eight weeks. The research found a direct and substantial relationship between the criteria of psychomotor exercises, and the researcher recommended the importance of trainers focusing on the psychological dimension as a basic factor affecting the boxer's athletic performance.
