Identifying Behavioral Problems of Middle School Students from the Perspective of Physical Education Teachers

Abstract

This research aims to identify some behavioral problems among middle school students during physical education classes from the perspective of physical education teachers. It also aims to develop solutions and suggestions for addressing these behavioral problems among middle school students during physical education classes at school. Research Methodology: The researchers used the descriptive method with a survey approach, as it was suitable for solving the research problem. Research Population: The research population included (288) physical education teachers at the intermediate level in the center of Basra Governorate for the academic year 2024/2025. Research Sample: The research sample included (100) physical education teachers at the intermediate level who were selected using the simple random method, representing (35%) of the research population. The most important findings were as follows: problems related to moral behavior; students' attitudes towards physical education classes; problems with aggressive behavior; and difficulties in getting along with others.
