The Reality of Normalizing Work Culture and Organizational Values among Employees in the General Directorates of the Iraqi Ministry of Youth and Sports

Abstract
The research aimed to identify the level of normalization of work culture and organizational values among employees in the general directorates of the Iraqi Ministry of Youth and Sports from their point of view and to reveal the degree of consolidation of organizational values within the administrative work environment in the ministry’s directorates and to determine the strengths and weaknesses in work culture and organizational values according to employees’ assessments and to propose practical recommendations that may contribute to enhancing work culture reinforcing organizational values and improving the administrative climate within the ministry The human field consisted of the employees working in the directorates of the Iraqi Ministry of Youth and Sports during the period from 6 March 2025 to 18 June 2025 The research population included all employees in the directorates of the ministry totaling 830 distributed across ten directorates The researchers selected a percentage of fifty percent resulting in a research sample of 415 employees selected through simple random sampling and then distributed into three main subsamples The researchers recommended the need to continue strengthening the institutional system with organizational values in order to adopt clear strategies of transparency fairness and accountability and to support a positive work culture by providing periodic training programs that enhance initiative teamwork and continuous development and to implement incentive policies that reinforce organizational identity and belonging such as honoring distinguished employees appreciating achievements and expanding participation in decision making and to provide a work environment supportive of change that helps employees assimilate administrative systems and modern technologies through training guidance and institutional education
