Using special exercises for the explosive power of the legs and arms according to energy systems in developing some physical and functional aspects of Gymnastics
Main Article Content
Abstract
The study aimed to prepare special exercises (physical-skills) according to the energy systems of the three areas of physical effort (the phosphorous, lactic, and oxygenic systems) and to identify the differences between the pre- and post-tests of the control and experimental groups in some physical and functional variables among gymnasts. The researchers used the experimental method. Using a two-group design (control and experimental). Accordingly, the researchers chose the research sample in a deliberate manner: the players from the Specialized Gymnastics Center, who numbered (16 players). The two most important conclusions of the research were that the exercises used according to the physical effort zones from the training schedule prepared by (Matthews and Fox) have an effective effect in The results of the physical (legs and arms) and functional tests improved in the experimental group, and the time and volume of exercises according to the energy systems were effective in bringing about changes from the functional and physical aspect, with the exception of the variable (pulse after 1 minute of rest, and running 20 m. The most important recommendations were to rely in building training curricula on the principle of specificity ( Exercise according to the areas of physical exertion and the process of supplying the muscles with the necessary energy).
