Abstract

The aim of the research was to identify the level of psychological skills of tennis players in the central and southern regions. The researcher adopted the descriptive approach in the form of survey studies for its suitability and the nature of the research, as the research community was represented by players from the central and southern regions - advanced category, numbering (12) players. A psychological skills scale was built and applied to all members of the community due to the small number of its members.

The researcher concluded that the level of psychological skills among tennis players in the central and southern regions does not meet the level of ambition, and the researcher recommended the need to pay attention to developing psychological skills from the beginning of training, in addition to the coach’s training plans.
