Effect of Micro-teaching and its impact on developing the skill of throwing a gun from standing and brook for students of the Police College

Abstract

The aim of the research was to prepare an educational curriculum using micro-teaching to develop the skill of shooting with a pistol from standing and rocking among third-stage students at the Police College. The researchers adopted the experimental method because it suits the nature of the research problem, as the experimental method gives real, tangible results. The research community represented the students of the Police College, third stage, for the academic year (2023-2024). The sample number was (20) students for the experimental and control groups. We concluded that micro-teaching has an effective impact in developing the skills of shooting with a pistol from standing and rocking under study for the experimental group and the control group at different levels. Accordingly, it was recommended to encourage the use of micro-teaching and to provide teaching skills because they work to shorten the time and effort expended.
