Abstract

The research aimed to identify the effect of the place mat strategy on visual-motor coordination and learning the ball sending skill for female students. The researcher used the experimental approach by designing two equal groups with pre- and post-tests to suit the research problem and objectives. The research community consisted of third-year female students in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences - Al-Isra Private University, numbering (125). The research sample was randomly selected with a number of (30) female students. The place mat strategy was applied to the experimental group for a period of (4) weeks and (2) educational units. The researcher concluded that the place mat strategy had a positive effect on visual-motor coordination in volleyball for female students. The researcher also recommended the necessity of using educational strategies, including the place mat strategy, in developing visual and motor abilities and learning volleyball skills.
