Motivation degree of participation in fourth grade students in school sports activities from their point of view

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the degree of motivation to participate among fourth-year middle school students in school sports activities from their point of view. The researcher used the descriptive analytical approach. The study sample consisted of 360 male and female learners, i.e. (20%) of the study community. The questionnaire was used to measure the learners' opinions, consisting of (14) paragraphs about their level of motivation to participate. After collecting the data, it was processed statistically. The researcher concluded that encouragement from teachers and trainers has an important role in enhancing the motivation to participate in sports activities. He also recommended working on integrating educational activities with physical and sports movements because of their positive impact on concentration and improving performance.
